Music for Special Occasions and Celebrating with Friends

Music is the universal language of the heart bringing joy, laughter, healing & connection to people as they celebrate and honor all of life's milestones and transitions.  Music celebrations include Birthday parties, House Concerts, Friends & Family Jamborees, Weddings & Funerals.  I am available to meet with you to create and design the musical part of your memorable event!
House Concerts

Imagine having a musician or band come right to your home and give a concert. House Concerts are dynamic, inspiring, intimate and a lot of fun.

My house concerts feature many of the original songs on my latest CD, along with a variety of music and instruments from Australia, Africa, and Ireland. There will be several opportunities for audience singing and playing different instruments.

If you would like to host a house concert please contact me to arrange a date and time. As a host you will provide space for the concert, send out email invitations to friends and family, and arrange for refreshments to be served during the break. A typical house concert can comfortably host 25-50 people according to the space.  The evening of the concert I will arrive at your home prior to the concert time to set up. The concert will have two 45 minute to one hour sets with a 30 minute break in the middle.

A typical donation for each guest is $8.00 -$12.00 with discounts for children and seniors.  This music appeals to people of all ages, however, if there will be a lot of children attending I will design the concert accordingly.

Friends and Family Jamboree Potluck
Remember when you went to Summer camp and sang around the campfire? Well get your instruments dusted off, warm up your voice and join together in the home of friends and family for a delightful evening of music, food and fun!

The format of the evening will be for folks to arrive with their potluck dish, have dinner and then the music will begin. I will facilitate and direct the singing and playing of songs. Folks who play an acoustic instrument are encouraged to bring an instrument and a music stand.  It is not required that everyone play an instrument, the more singers we have the better! There may be people who simply want to sit back and enjoy the music and that’s great too! Song packets will be provided.

We will sing and play for 45 minutes to one hour with a 30 minute break for desert and then conclude with a second 45 minute to one hour set.If you would like to host one of these special events please contact me to arrange a date and time. I will come to your home, or the setting of your choice to facilitate an afternoon or evening of singing and instrument playing.

The minimum price for the special event is $100.00. This would cover the first 8 people. After that the price is 8.00/adult children and seniors are half price.
   
Special Occasions Looking for something special to do at a party? A music party is fun for people of all ages! I will bring a variety of African and Australian Instruments to engage your guests in a musical celebration that will create wonderful, lasting memories.

I have been singing at weddings and funerals for the last 30 years and have a large selection of music. I am available to sing as well as play guitar, piano and flute.
