Sing My Way Home
Sing My Way Home Marsha's debut CD, released in 2001,
would fit in Americana, Classic Nashville, Singer Songwriter
and Folk music genres. It is a creative and collaborative
effort which inspired and birthed a spontaneous live feeling.
It has a bit of that Americana sound, a little bit Nashville,
beautiful vocal harmonies and fabulous musical performances
by some of the finest artists the Pacific Northwest has to
offer. The line up of musicians and singers appearing
on the CD are: Nancy K. Dillon, harmony vocals, Bruce Blood,
harmony vocals, Janet Peterson, cello, Kim Townsend, bass,
Bill Corral, vocals and guitar, Richard Middleton, lead guitar,
Will Dowd, percussion and Paul Elliot, playing magical violin
parts that compliment the story of many songs.
Sing My Way Home features songs that tell stories of
personal journeys and triumphs inspired by life and death,
love and loss and the eternal hope that sings in each of us.
Her style is a touch of that classic Nashville sound, with
a good dose of folk, a little bit of country and a lot of
pure, warm strong vocals!
The CD follows a storyline of a journey from
a place of being lost to one of new life, hope and freedom.
While many of the songs are written from personal experience
they all carry a universal message.

"When people hear Marsha for the first time, I watch
them stop and take notice, and then I see them ask the person
next to them Who is that!? She is rapidly gaining new
fans every time she performs. Mary
Lytle, President Seattle Folklore Society
"Marsha's exquisite
voice sings about the path of life, inviting us on her pilgrimage
with lyrics that tell stories we too have lived. Listening
to the spirit that drives her songs into
our hearts, Marsha's melodies are graced with flute, piano,
cello, violin as well as finely blended back-up vocals.
